Our Story.

The idea for sister kit began when I couldn’t find a high-quality bra for my two daughters. They had grown out of their crop tops and were ready for an actual bra which would be supportive and comfortable.

I couldn’t find anything that was made to last from quality fabrics, that didn’t have padding or underwire.

I couldn’t find anything that they could wear to school and be comfortable in all day, as well as something that provided them support when moving, playing sport, dancing or running around at lunch time.

During this time, I was working as a social worker full time and the idea of trying to create my own version of a bra for my daughters wouldn’t go away.

Bra manufacturing is an area I knew nothing about! I started researching and found my first mentor, Amanda who believed in my idea and translated my initial ideas into a technical drawing. Suzanne was my next mentor who helped me find my amazing manufacturer. I couldn't have created my product without the help of these incredible women.

I’ve learnt so much, and my daughters have been with me every step of the way, giving me their feedback on the designs, trying on each sample and encouraging me with this idea.
